A clearer perspective on
your investments.

Neox Capital combines systematic research with fundamental expertise to provide equity advice with a clear rationale for private and professional investors.

Our story

Built around a more disciplined way to decide.

Neox Capital was founded by Peter Sjöholm after more than three decades in finance, much of it with major financial institutions in Northern Europe.

Over those years, he saw how often investment decisions rested on gut feeling and market headlines, even when the data to test them was available.

His answer was to bring two disciplines together: a systematic process that evaluates thousands of companies within one consistent framework, and the judgment of people who have spent their careers studying businesses.

What we believe

The beliefs behind every recommendation and decision.

Three ideas shape how Neox approaches every portfolio:

Quality compounds over time

We look for businesses with strong balance sheets and consistent profitability, and we give them time.

Every holding earns its place

When the evidence for a company is strong, it deserves a meaningful position in a concentrated portfolio.

Transparency you can check

Every recommendation comes with reasoning that can be explained and revisited as the evidence changes.

Our approach

Systematic research brings structure to a broad universe. Fundamental expertise gives it context.

Neox combines quantitative and qualitative research to evaluate companies consistently across a broad universe. Data pipelines in Neox iQ filter market noise from large data sets, and the investment team challenges the output and makes the final judgment.

What Neox iQ looks at

Five overlapping circles, labelled (A) to (E).Five overlapping circles, labelled (A) to (E).
  1. Factors

Revenue, profitability, default risk, cash flow, momentum and more.

  2. Relationships

Causal links between factors and their sensitivity to change.

  3. Markets

Economic indicators and interest rates, analyzed across sectors.

  4. Trends

Market movements, separating meaningful signals from noise.

  5. Valuations

Company valuations assessed against fundamentals, market expectations, and conditions.

Data methodology

Quality, measured in data.

Quality metrics

We look for companies whose quality shows in the numbers.

  • Quality first

Each company is compared with its peers on margin of safety and return on invested capital. Profitability has to hold up over time.

  • Valuation

Companies that pass are checked for positive fair value and sound funding. A low risk of financial distress counts too.

  • Momentum

Fairly valued stocks can stay that way for a long time, so the process also looks for signs of positive price movement.

Valuation, Quality and Momentum on one circle.

Noise is everywhere

Noise reaches investors in two ways.

  • Random information

Random data distorts the underlying signal in a time series and can lead to false conclusions.

  • Outside interference

Hype and flawed analysis change how investors read the same information.

Dealing with the noise

Our data pipelines are designed to filter out noise, so the relationships between data points become easier to read.

Neox iQ

The platform behind Neox research.

Neox iQ is the set of digital tools behind our research. It connects that research to every portfolio we work on, from the first screen to ongoing analysis. It covers more than 6,000 listed companies in Europe and the US, each assessed on more than 800 parameters. It helps the team apply one consistent framework across the whole universe and keep the rationale behind each holding clear.

The framework evolves as our research develops. Neox iQ brings scale and consistency to that work, while investment judgment remains with the Neox team.

  1. Discover

Neox iQ follows around 6,000 listed companies. It analyzes live and model portfolios every day and flags when a portfolio's characteristics change.

  2. Evaluate

Companies are screened for liquidity and data quality, then scored on value, quality, growth and catalysts. For customized portfolios, Neox iQ can also build several versions of a strategy and compare them before one is chosen.

  3. Automate

Routine screening and data processing run automatically. That leaves the team's time for judgment and for conversations with clients.
